Meet The Man, Opeyemi Enoch, Who Solved The 156yrs Old Problem in Mathematics

Those who hates mathematics need to just keep calm and study harder, it’s possible! Nigerian professor Dr. Opeyemi Enoch (pictured above) was reported to have solved one of the world’s important Math problems – the Riemann Hypothesis. The Riemann Hypothesis is one of the seven millennium problems in mathematics and had gone unsolved for over 150 years until Dr. Enoch came along from Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, and trashed it.
Below is how Daily Mail captured it:

The Riemann Hypothesis was proposed by mathematician Bernard Riemann in 1859 and concerns the distribution of prime numbers. It has become arguably the most famous problem in mathematics, since Fermat’s Last Theorem was solved in the 1990s.”
The Clay Mathematical Institute explains the problem: The prime number theorem determines the average distribution of the primes. The Riemann Hypothesis tells us about the deviation from the average. Formulated in Riemann’s 1859 paper, it asserts that all the ‘non-obvious’ zeros of the zeta function are complex numbers with real part 1/2.”

Dr. Enoch has been speaking to reputable media organisations about his feat. The solution to this problem comes with a $1,000,000 prize. Congratulations to him!
